Shelley
Here's Shelley, our Food Service Coordinator, with some reflections on life.
I think being a cook, chef or baker is something fun and challenging to do. I would agree that is something to feel proud of and what made her be who she is today. Something for the producer is maybe find a specific area in which you want your questions to be answered so the person answering questions can respond to a specific question and not just anything in general, overall I think this was done and made pretty well.
This Life of Veritas allows us the students to learn more of the staff that are around the building. I like that she allows us to learn that she has a long history of bakers and that its her passion. I hope that she gets to open her one shop she deserves it.
Shelly's answers were genuine and sweet, it was interest to watch since no has has interviewed her and it's nice to see that it's not just teachers that are being interviewed and involved. I agree with Shelly that we should have home economics as a class, it would be a fun and skill-improving class. The questions asked were deep and thought-provoking because it really makes someone reflect on their life.
As a student here, it is hard to actually get to know who Shelly is, as we only see her during lunch, but through this Life of Veritas segment it was really refreshing to see a side of her that we don't usually get to see. I enjoyed hearing her talk about this topic, she had really uplifting answers.
It is really good to know about a person's life especially when you don't talk them as much. I think it was a really good idea to get an insight of Shelley's life. She might be the lunch lady but, under that label she is someone who has accomplished a lot in her years and has many dreams.
I agree with Richie. This was great advice and it feels comforting knowing that a person you don't talk to often gives you reassurance. I realy loved this video and now i can be more comfortable talking to her.
