Carly
Here's Carly as she reflects on her life and gives some advice.
This Life of Veritas has a amazing introduction. I like how she goes into her experiences of college giving advice to seniors on their way to college. I also hate being away from my family but I want to leave home and have my own experiences in college.
These are good questions because it tells us how life is when you go away from your family for college. One thing is that maybe they should ask more specific questions and not keep it as basic. Ask questions that make the person go into more and more detail
It is interesting to see see Carly answer these types of questions. Because sometimes we may just see Carly as a teacher, it is nice to see her in a different light with her answering very interesting questions. I really liked Carly's answers and would love to go and talk to her more about it.
I liked Carly's response because it gives us an insight of what she went through in college. Describing how hard it was at first, but then got used to it was reassuring. I feel like they could've added more and asked more questions.
I really liked Carly's story on this stuff. I'm sure that a lot of us, as we begin to approach our last years of highschool, can draw some sort of comfort in knowing that all the adults around us struggled in some way in college, and was able to overcome it. I know for myself that I am very nervous to be going into college, and hearing her story on it and how it turned around for her puts a lot of my worries to rest.
